Winter Shelter Availability

Our Winter Shelter Program is designed to create affordable and effective outdoor winter shelters for Indianapolis' community cats. These shelters offer the perfect solution for cats trying to survive the harsh winter weather. When temperatures drop to dangerous levels, winters shelters are a lifeline for our feline neighbors. Shelters are available for pickup from December to February. Dates, times, and locations will be posted as they become available....

How Do I Get a Shelter for My Community Cats?

The shelters created by our Winter Shelter Program typically become available toward the end of the year. As winter nears, we’ll start posting the available dates, times, and locations for shelter pickup. You’ll be able to get shelters for your community cats for a small donation, and we’ll also have extra straw available as well. If you’re need for an outdoor shelter is more pressing, then check out the links at the bottom of this article for DIY ideas for creating your own shelter out of common items.
